Storyboard
This is our story board from 0- 3.33 seconds of our music video 'Seventeen'. This included all the angles and shots that we needed to include. Also the seconds of how long each shot lasts from cut to cut.
Photoshoot
Myself and Molly took multiple photos as a photo-shoot so we could use them for the face of our social media accounts of the artist and the image across the digipak and website.
Synergy
Synergy
Synergy in music is how artists use other media platforms to get across their image. During class, we looked at
how Daft Punk use synergy, in order to represent their brand and artist imagery. For example, in most videos,
album covers and posters, the theme of mask, electronics and dark colours became a common occurrence.
This meant that their image was instantly recognised by fans or even just members of the public.
Ariana Grande
This is Ariana Grande album cover dangrous women. The album cover is black, white and grey.
In the first picture there is a photo of Ariana Grande third album Dangerous Women and above is a screenshot and link to her A Cappella version of her number 1 song. Throughout the music video the use of the same outfit the album cover is obvious and very clear.
Beyonce
Above are two pictures of Beyonce album, which are black, white, pink and a tint of purple.
In the first screenshot, you can see how throughout the first music video of partiton there is a similar colour theme with only a pop of colour being used to highlight what is important and what they want the main focus to be. As well as this there is a genre of sexiness being shown through 'proactive' clothing and dance moves and poses throughout the videos and album covers. There is a clear show of synergy due to the clothing and colour themes used.
Digi Pack- song ideas
Digipak- song ideas
We decided that we would come up with some names that we would use on the Digi pack to make it seem as a
realistic album. These are going to appear on the website also as if people was going to be buying our album.
This is the names and the timings we came up with, we went for a theme of songs which matched the song we are
actually making a music video of.

Outfit ideas for our artist.
Outfit ideas
Brook Johnson has agreed to follow our idea in the music video and help us therefore create a final outcome. I do think he would be really interesting to be in our music video, but however I think that it could possibly be more difficult to use him in the video, rather than using someone in the group. I have put together some outfit ideas for if we did film with Brook which I will show below.
Somebody to love lyric analysis
Somebody to love lyric analysis
After doing this I think that it could be quite confusing and may not look that original as it is all about love as many
common music videos are.
Artist names
Today we decided to do some research on quirky, fun female names that we believe will fit in well with the image we are trying to portray to our target audience
So far Molly have come up with the name LOLA as it is short, indie and catchy
I have come up with the name MoEl as it is a contraction of both our names so therefore is personal to us
Molly has has also come up with the name Molly May which is cool
