Synergy

Synergy

Synergy in music is how artists use other media platforms to get across their image. During class, we looked at
how Daft Punk use synergy, in order to represent their brand and artist imagery. For example, in most videos,
album covers and posters, the theme of mask, electronics and dark colours became a common occurrence.
This meant that their image was instantly recognised by fans or even just members of the public.

Ariana Grande
This is Ariana Grande album cover dangrous women. The album cover is black, white and grey.

In the first picture there is a photo of Ariana Grande third album Dangerous Women and above is a screenshot and link to her A Cappella version of her number 1 song. Throughout the music video the use of the same outfit the album cover is obvious and very clear.

Beyonce

Above are two pictures of Beyonce album, which are black, white, pink and a tint of purple.

In the first screenshot, you can see how throughout the first music video of partiton there is a similar colour theme with only a pop of colour being used to highlight what is important and what they want the main focus to be. As well as this there is a genre of sexiness being shown through 'proactive' clothing and dance moves and poses throughout the videos and album covers. There is a clear show of synergy due to the clothing and colour themes used.
